April Ballestero - Current Operational Manager - Coach/Trainer/Mentor/Speaker/Facilitator/Creator/Writer
As a Coach April has served in multiple positions to live and learn through her own life experience. She is continually guided through the signs in which she also trains in.
Her life has become a highway of purpose and direction, in which she wants to share with all those willing to embark on uncovering their path. Meanwhile, while she is mentoring and coaching her Peers she continues to brand One Light Ahead. Over 20 years in customer service, sales, training, and managing family, work, and time, her background includes Public Defender's office, Dentistry and Oral Surgeon office and assisting, Movie Theatres, Singles Connection, Computer services, Denny's, IHOP, Sizzler, Cask and Cleaver, Tony Romas, Construction plan reading, estimating, dispatching and office managing, sales for Nextel dealers including her own called Ballestero Solutions, Teaching Real Estate in High Schoool real estate class , and finally Coach, Trainer and Agent of Multiple Companies.
Before all that, in 1986 she started working in a program called "Booze Busters" which then became a Students Against Drunk Driving group specialized for her high school Jackrabbit logo, which was called RADD. She served as President of RADD, created and planned Natural High, along with a group of friends, served as Master of Ceremonies, and planned two years of retreats for her peers, high school kids with Friday Night Live. Years later, while raising her own teenagers, found the need for achieving her Bachelor's of Vocational Educaton, she got hired to teach high school students again. This time some of those high school students were born the year she graduated high school in 1989. How time flies. The experience was another great learning experience, along with the first One Light Ahead seminar in 2006, she redefined, recreated, and revised the upcoming "One Light Ahead Seminar". In between time, she is gaining Coaching Clients, logging hours to work towards ICF certification, talking with current coaches to grow her business, training and mentoring with great coaches. Researching Gary Henson, Laurie Beth Jones, path training and writer of Jesus, as your life coach, along with Life Coaching Ministries, Leland Hall, who started her first mentoring process and exposed her to the ICF system, she is now preparing to continue her life coaching, speaking, and developing others careers to become one of the Master of Personal and Company development, while developing and ensuring herself she is always practicing what she is preaching.
Northern and Southern California advising friends and family include: Don Kingston - Retired Police Officer/Previous Coordinator of Booze Busters and Safe and Sober Task Force, Patricia Deeter : Previous Board Member of Safe and Sober and will be Secretary/Treasuer, Rob Gore - Teacher/Previous Coordinator and Writer for Teen Theater, Manny (Teacher and Previous Safe and Sober Participant), and Eric Ballestero - Son and Committed Voice of the Future Leaders, as well as Selena St.Andre, neice, also future voice!
